| Membership Information
New Members With the exception of Honorary Lifetime Member, the Board may, in its discretion, accept all new Members. Honorary Lifetime Members are to be voted in and accepted at the Member’s Annual General Meeting. Principal Members A Principal Member of CIBPA Niagara shall be an individual of Italian descent or be the spouse of an individual of Italian descent interested in supporting the objectives of CIBPA Niagara. This individual shall have full voting rights and shall be entitled to hold an executive position. Associate Members An Associate Member of CIBPA Niagara shall be an individual of non-Italian descent. This individual can enjoy all that CIBPA Niagara has to offer, but will not have voting rights. Student Members A Student Member shall be an individual full-time student of Italian or non-Italian descent interested in supporting the objectives of CIBPA Niagara. This individual shall have no voting rights and shall not hold an executive position. This individual may apply for the education Awards if they meet the proper criteria. Corporate Members Shall be entitled to elect a set number of representatives from their company as per CIBPA Niagara’s Corporate tier structure. If the representatives meet the criteria of a Principal Member, then they shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of a Principal Member, if they don't they will enjoy the rights and privileges of an Associate Member. Honorary Lifetime Members Life membership in CIBPA Niagara may be extended to any member as special recognition of outstanding services rendered to the Association or the Canadian-Italian community at large. The extension of such membership shall be proposed by the Board and approved by the General Assembly at the Members’ Annual General Meeting. Life Members will not pay membership fees, but will be required to pay for meals and any other costs paid by all other Members.
